We have 4 mares scanned in foal for 2011 - the sires are San Amour, Sir Donnerhall, Breitling W and Hotline! All of these stallions stand at the Schockemohle Stud in Germany . The first 2011 foals are due in March.

Our yearling filly Poppy (Eutopian Love) has had her tooth extracted after fracturing it!

We have had another mare scanned in foal at 16 days.

Our mare With Love had the prettiest little black filly foal! Born in the field on Wednesday! Her 'due date' was the 12th July so she was quite early. Her sire is Sarkozy.

We have found an excellent source of historic photographs of Faside in the RCAHMS archive. The photos include areal photos which show the outlines of the Roman settlement to the South of the Castle.

You can also see a lot of the outbuildings which unfortunately got demolished during World War Two so the land could be used for agriculture. If you have any historic photos of Faside please feel free to send them to us or add them to our Facebook Group.
