Faside's Black Magic

Our last foal of 2008 is a beautiful black filly by Rubin Star N out of Donnatella. Rubin Star N won his 100 day performance test with 10s for temperament and willingness to learn. Rubin Star N was highly placed in the Bundeschampionat final and was a successful Grand Prix horse. He also scores highly in his heritability assessment for dressage. His sire is Rubinstein who was one of the most influential sires of modern dressage horses. Rubin Star N's dam, State Premium Carella, was by Ramino, who also won his performance test. His full brother Magic Ronaldo is very highly placed on the Dutch dressage index and was Oldenburg Stallion Approval Vice Champion.

The dam of this foal is Donnatella who is sired by the world-famous dressage stallion Donnerhall, out of a State Premium mare by Pik Bube, an extremely successful combination. Donnatella was bred by the stud which had Donnerhall, the "Groenwohldhof stud". Donnatella is graded with the British Hanoverian Society (score 7) and passed her mare performance test. She was brought to Britain as a foal and competed in affiliated dressage up to Elementary level. She is the full sister to the top stallion Don Primaire who has a high dressage index of 148 among with high scores for both conformation (111) and movement (108). Donnatella has a Verban Premium full sister who is being successfully bred from in America by embryo transfer and has produced a State Premium daughter.
