Stables

Faside Stud was established in 2006 with the purchase of four top quality broodmares to use for breeding high quality sports horses. We combine the excellent bloodlines of our mares with some of the finest stallions in Europe to produce offspring that have the potential to go to the top in their discipline.

By breeding the best to the best, Faside Stud hope to produce horses who are sound, athletic and trainable. Temprement and conformation are the top priorities in our breeding programme. Every foal is well handled consistently from birth.

The stud has a purpose built yard within Fa'side Estate. Each stable is large enough to comfortably accommodate a mare and growing foal. The yard also has CCTV both inside the stables and externally for both security and monitoring the horses. Some of our stables have heat lamps and the yard has purpose built stocks.

News

For 2010 we are expecting 4 foals by Sandro Hit, Sarkozy, Don Primus and San Amour.

2009

The following foals and youngsters are now for sale: Bay 2 year old gelding by Mill Law, Bay 2 year old filly by Sandreo, Black yearling filly by Rubin Star N, Bay yearling filly by Demonstrator, Filly foal by Johnson, Filly foal by Sunny Boy, Colt foal by Welt Hit II.

We have had a fantastic season so far with three stunning foals! We also have 2 confirmed pregnancies for 2010.

In April, With Love produced a stunning bay KWPN filly "Euopian Love" by Johnson. This lovely filly has such names as Jazz, Flemming, Florestan and Wolfgang in her pedigree!

One week later Reggae produced a lovely bay colt who has total "look at me" presence. He has Welt Hit II (Weltmeyer) bloodlines.

In May Russian Roulette gave birth to a lovely filly 3 weeks before her due date! Roulette has once again passed on her fantastic temperament. This filly has Sandro Hit, Donnerhall and Rohdiamant in its close pedigree. To contact Faside Stud, please email us at horses@faside-estate.com.
