Stables

Faside Stud was established in 2006 with the purchase of four top quality broodmares to use for breeding high quality sports horses. We combine the excellent bloodlines of our mares with some of the finest stallions in Europe to produce offspring that have the potential to go to the top in their discipline.

In 2006 Faside Stud constructed a purpose built yard within the estate. Each stable is large enough to comfortably accommodate a mare and growing foal. The yard also has CCTV both inside the stables and externally for both security and monitoring the horses. Heat lamps have also been installed in the stables. Purpose builts stocks have also been installed to aid in the artificial insemination process.

By breeding the best to the best, Faside Stud hope to produce horses who are sound, athletic and trainable. Temprement and conformation are the top priorities in our breeding programme.
